The ninth annual Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development was just around the corner, and this year the theme was “From a Human Security Crisis to a Peace Environment”. It is an event of great importance, organized jointly by SIPRI and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. This year’s Forum promised and delivered a rallying point for thought leaders and policy makers from around the world.

As part of the preparation, we at Centas have planned and set up equipment and competent staff to ensure that the event runs smoothly and professionally. As always, our equipment is of the highest class and carefully selected to meet the customer’s strict requirements for quality.

Participants from all over the world took part digitally

We had installed three manned cameras at the main stage. What I personally thought stood out a bit were the three screens placed vertically on the stage. These screens allowed participants from different parts of the world to be seen and actively participate in the panel discussions, creating a sense of global community and interactivity.

Inclusive discussion forum

In the smaller rooms, we had a different strategic setup. Cameras were placed in the center of U-shaped tables, a design that allowed online participants to fully engage and follow the discussions. This technical solution facilitated a more inclusive and engaging experience for those participating remotely.

The event took place at Münchenbryggeriet, which is a highly appreciated meeting point on Södermalm overlooking Riddarholmen.

Cameras used for the stream:

  • Three PANASONIC AK-HC3800 which is a professional studio camera for those with higher demands.
  • Six PANASONIC AW-HE130KE robotic pan/tilt cameras.
