Is the goal of the corporate event to reward employees, build team spirit, launch a new product or something else? Having a clear and explicit purpose will help you shape the event in the right way.
The purpose should influence the choice of entertainment, the time of the event or party and of course the choice of event technology. The purpose should be clear to everyone involved so that everyone is working towards the same goal.
6 tips for technology at your corporate event
- Create a mood with lighting.
Different types of lighting create different types of atmosphere and feeling. Soft, warm colors make the environment more welcoming, while dynamic light shows add energy to a dance floor, for example. - Adapt the sound to the location.
Make sure that the sound system is correctly dimensioned for the premises you use. When it comes to sound, too much is always better than too little. It is better to play at a lower volume with a good system than to have to push a system to the limits of what it can handle, the result is usually loud but poor sound. - Use projectors or LED walls.
Scale up the size of presentations so that everyone can see clearly. Good visuals make presentations look and feel better. Large screens make it easier for participants to see. - Highlight the important.
Use spotlights or directional lighting to highlight speakers, award winners or important moments during the corporate event. - Take advantage of background music.

Common set-up for corporate events or kickoffs
Many corporate events follow a format that looks like the following.
Daytime conference
Participants meet in the morning to have a conference during the day. At Centas, we usually provide professional AV technology in the form of projectors, screens or LED walls, as well as microphones and speakers to ensure crisp images and clean sound. We use high-resolution projectors with large screens or high-quality monitors to ensure that the material is clear to everyone in the room.
Dinner in the evening
Once the day’s business is done, we use sound and light to shift the focus to creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for a dinner. Unobtrusive but effective lighting sets the mood along with appropriate sounds that create a comfortable feeling without taking away the opportunity to talk. As we mentioned earlier, it is popular to have tones of red and orange to give the feeling that guests are sitting in the glow of a living fire.
Dancing into the small hours
