Event technology at Artipelag

As Artipelag’s in-house partner, our job is to make it as simple, reliable and impactful as possible for you to stage an event in the venue. We are with you the whole way, from the first idea and technical planning to delivery on site with the right equipment and experienced technicians.

Because we are already at Artipelag, we know the spaces in detail, from the technical conditions to how each room and area is best used for different kinds of events. That means you do not have to build a technical production from scratch, and much can be resolved quickly during planning. Centas has delivered event technology since 1976, and at Artipelag that experience meets one of Sweden’s most exciting venues.

What you gain as an organiser

Having Centas on site as the venue’s technical partner gives you several concrete advantages:

• We know the building. Direct access to Artipelag’s systems and technical setup means the right solution is in place from the start.
• Rigging outside your hours. In many cases we can build and strike outside your booked hours, so everything is ready when you get access to the space.

Artbox, the room that becomes whatever you want

In Artbox, the image covers all four walls and the floor. That makes the room more immersive than most projection spaces: here the visitor is inside the image rather than in front of it. With 18 projectors, over 86 million pixels and nine metres of ceiling height, a whole world is built around the audience.

With the right content, the room can become almost anything, from a Swedish archipelago forest to the deep sea, a starlit sky or a fully branded world. It is in Artbox that immersive experiences such as Imagine van Gogh and Mucha have taken shape.
